Over the years, the United Small Animal Practitioners Association of MP & Chhattisgarh has actively worked toward strengthening veterinary skills, improving small-animal healthcare, and building unity among practitioners. Some of our key achievements include:
1. Organized High-Quality Continuing Education Programs
We have conducted multiple Continuing Veterinary Education (CVE) sessions—both online and offline—covering various aspects of small-animal practice such as medicine, surgery, dermatology, orthopedics, imaging, emergency care, and diagnostics. Our programs have featured national and international experts, benefitting hundreds of veterinarians across both states.
2. Hands-on Workshops and Practical Skill Training
Our association has successfully arranged hands-on practical workshops, enabling veterinarians to learn directly from specialists. These sessions have included:
- Exotic animal practical workshop
- Orthopedic and fracture repair training
- Soft tissue surgery demonstrations
- Hematology and laboratory interpretation training
- Emergency and critical care workshop
These workshops have improved clinical confidence and enhanced practical proficiency.
4. Rescue, Welfare & Collaboration Efforts
We have partnered with NGOs, shelters, and municipal bodies to support rescue operations and community-animal welfare programs. Our veterinarians have assisted in emergency rescue cases, post-operative care, rabies awareness programs, and vaccination initiatives aimed at improving community health.
5. Support for Fellow Veterinarians in Need
As part of our commitment to unity, we have consistently supported veterinarians facing emergencies, legal challenges, workplace issues, or health crises. Our association has also created professional networks to offer mentorship, second opinions, and guidance on clinical challenges.
6. Building a Strong Professional Community
We have created online discussion groups, case-sharing platforms, and knowledge-exchange forums where veterinarians from MP & Chhattisgarh interact daily. These initiatives have strengthened communication, improved clinical decision-making, and created a supportive environment for young practitioners.
